Mega Shark e-bike battery. 52v 26.5AH 50 amps continuous. 13.6 lbs. This is the newest and largest shark case for 21700 battery cells. The Samsung 21700 53G cells are mounted within a structurally sound honeycomb lattice. The charge port is the reliable mini 3-pin connector, including an on/off switch. This battery is large enough that it is a rare full-suspension bike that will take it, but it is an excellent high-power, long-range option for most hard-tails.
The Shark style is popular because it looks great. 52V 26.5AH e-bike down-tube battery with high capacity Samsung 53G cells and a whopping 50 amps output. Removable battery locks to the down tube for security. This battery packs 1378 watt-hours into a tight and attractive package. That is equivalent to two Bosch or Yamaha batteries for less than half the price. The Mega Shark is the most recent addition to the super rugged and proven Shark family of e-bike batteries. They all share the same mount cradle, so you use different sizes on the same bike.
The cells in this battery are high-quality Samsung 53G high-capacity 5100mah cells. We only use grade-A certified genuine Samsung cells.

The cells we use are all top-of-the-line high-capacity/high-power cells from Samsung, Panasonic, Molicel, and LG. You won't find batteries of the same size with higher capacity because we use the highest capacity cells available in all our batteries.
The cells are more expensive but worth it in performance and peace of mind. Using high-quality cells, BMS, and build quality, ensures that our batteries are as safe as possible. Excellent battery - not a mini xlr plug
"This is a great battery. I was able to fit it in my Rad Runner Plus by clearancing the fender. I also had to drill additional holes in the provided battery cradle to accommodate the 3 bolt 109mm spacing, as on the rad runner stock cradle. I paired this battery with a 35 A Area 13 controller and a direct drive motor. There is a notable top speed increase (52V instead of 48V) and the range and efficiency is better (1. 3 kWh vs stock 0. 67 kWh. However- the charge port is not a mini XLR as stated in the product listings. It is a reention mini 3 pin, a proprietary plug. Other than that I had no issues."
Best for tandem trikes
"This battery has great range for use on a tandem trike which is usually much heavier than a triangle frame tandem or single bike. The cells used are excellent to allow riding over 90 miles across the road in central Florida. A couple of tandem trikes in this area use this battery and and do not complain of the range that it offers."
Good dam purchase
"I purchased this product October 2024. It has worked flawless since, I was worried about range. I have a sprint X tour trike, loaded with bags and I am not exactly a stick man (250ish lbs). I like long rides and have put many century rides in. One day I decided to see just how far I could go. 135miles from full charge to power just coming from me. It still ran the computer and light even when the motor shut down. I do limit the cyc photon to 50-100W to extend usage. Most times I only charge to 90%."

"I am cycling with a Reactive Adaptations Bomber handcycle. I use this mt bike to ride with other veterans. At present I am working on a 250 mile bike packing route and need more power and longevity from my battery so I upgraded to the Mega Shark. I also purchased a solar blanket to be able to recharge my batteries while in the back country of Idaho using my trike to pack as well as hunt. I have charged my battery with the solar blanket and have charged my Anker Solex 2000 solar generator with the solar blanket and used the solar generator to charge my battery. This has become a great combination for bike packing as well as trips to Moab etc. I have been able to more than double my distance traveled with just the addition of the battery. Using the solar it is now endless."
