CYC RIDE CONTROL APP for X-Series Controllers
The CYC RIDE CONTROL app (Play/App Store) is the Photon Pro's configuration system. This is where you will customize your experience & monitor your performance.
The app is connected to your controller via Bluetooth & will allow you to set up your system & change parameters according to your preference.
The CYC RIDE CONTROL app allows you to do multiple things:
- Set up your desired power output's for 2 different modes
- Customize your parameters for pedal assist, throttle performance, & gear preferences
- Configure your torque sensor
- Monitor your performance
- Set up your e-bike battery & peripherals
- See warnings & clear errors
This app is needed to set up a few things to get started such as your regions legal limits, your battery voltage, & wheel diameter. You will also need the app to clear any warnings or errors that may occur.

- Bicycle chainring (32T, 34T, 36T, 38T, 40T & 50T)
- ISIS splined bottom bracket & spindle
- 160mm/170mm crank arm set

However, if you consistently run the Photon Motor at its full 40-amp potential or you need more capacity, you'll want to consider options like the JumboShark, Mini-Max 50 amp, MiniShark, MegaMax, or MegaShark. These batteries are designed to deliver up to 50 amps of continuous power, ensuring your motor operates smoothly without overloading the battery.
Note on Warranty: CYC Motor kits are warranted for 1 year from the date of shipment. You get a FREE ONE-YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY when you purchase a battery from Electrify Bike Co. on the same order.
